My son’s half birthday is Valentine’s Day. I never thought I would be the type to celebrate “half birthdays,” but the fact that it falls on this day makes me smile endlessly and feel the love over and over again.

Sometimes a fun gift can prompt the best memory. That being said, I compiled a list of some of my favorite gift ideas for the littlest loves in our lives. The list comprises gifts from some of my go-to brands and online shops. I’m excited to pick up a few of these for my little man this year, and I am happy to recommend the products that we have had fun with.

BOOK
I love this to teach our little dude about the big feelings that come with growing hearts. Perfect for Valentine’s Day.
PUZZLE
Grimm’s Wooden Heart Blocks can be used for stacking, building, and imaginative play.
MONTESSORI TOY
What I love about this Etsy shop is that they use eco-friendly organic materials. I especially love this heart toy, because not only does it give off the love-vibes but also helps with fine motor skills, patience, and tactile play.
CLOTHES
The picture speaks for itself in terms of cuteness! On top of that, Monica and Andy is known for using organic fabrics to protect the most sensitive of skin. I love their fun patterns, too!
CLOTHES
I love these Burt’s Bees Pj’s for my little man. He doesn’t love footed pajamas, and these are just his style. On top of that Burt’s Bees also uses 100% organic cotton. Can’t go wrong with that.
BLANKET
This one is for readers who have infants still wanting to be swaddled. This heart blanket is made of organic cotton and no pesticides. As a bonus, it could double as a fun backdrop for a Valentine’s Day photo.
MONTESSORI TOY
This puzzle helps with developing problem-solving skills and hand-eye coordination.
DECOR
My little one loves soft, cushy things. And on Valentine’s Day, what better way to celebrate than with a cushy heart pillow?
BOOK
This spinoff from the classic, “If You Give A Mouse a Cookie,” is the perfect way to connect a familiar character to a fun holiday.
HATS
This Mama’s Boy hat got me as soon as I saw it, namely because it comes from the brand George Hats. Having the same name as my son won me over immediately. But moreover, these hats and their patterns are SO CUTE! I love that I have fun options for my boy.
TOY
I loved this rattle, because the colors can be customized! And this Etsy shop has a number of really great, organic options.
BALLOONS
Balloons can be tricky, as they aren’t eco-friendly. But anyone with a toddler knows they love them. And my little man is no exception. This year, we are filling his crib with heart balloons when he wakes up on Friday…because these are the days.
KITCHEN
Pancakes (gluten-free) are a staple in our house. I love these heart-shaped molds to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I can see a tradition emerging from this simple kitchen item.
BOOK
We have many, many Curious George books already and read them over and over again, but this one will make the perfect addition to our little man’s favorite monkey collection.
FOR THE MAMA
Just to throw in some mama love, these stacking rings make a cute gift and a nice reminder of the love in our lives.
FOR THE MAMA
Never drink a cold coffee again. I didn’t realize that I needed this until I became a mom. You’re welcome.

Crystal

I am passionate about motherhood. I have two boys, 5 and 3. As a former journalist, I decided to start a blog as a fun, creative outlet. I also work full-time while parenting.

What I have learned is that sometimes parenting comes with a lot of struggle and stretches us, and I hope that this blog will help me to appreciate all of the moments that help us grow and become the best versions of ourselves each day.

A little more about me: My favorite meal is meatloaf and mashed potatoes, which people find funny for some reason. I am a creativity enthusiast. And my happiest and proudest moments are with my sons, who gaze up at me with the most loving eyes. They are my heart and home.

I’m also like coffee, flamingos, coffee, Harry Potter, hygge, and building a peaceful home, and coffee. Yes, I know I wrote coffee three times.
